PHOTOGRAPHER UNKNOWN, C1875 WILLIAM BURGES' MERMAID BOWL albumen printProvenance: William Burges, ARA, (1827-1881) (photograph found loose in the preceding album).Burges' Mermaid Bowl of gilt brass, silver and niello of 1875 is thought to have been made for his home, The Tower House, by Hart, Son, Peard & Co.
