A PAIR OF SECESSIONIST SILVER OVERLAID IRIDESCENT GLASS VASES, BOHEMIAN OR BAVARIAN, C1910 of waisted organic form embedded with opalescent trails, the symmetrical silver electro-deposit 'owl mask' studded with crysophrase cabochons, 21.5cm hThe identical silver overlaid mount appears on a similar, smaller anonymous vase thought to be Pallme-Konig or Poschinger. It was sold A Private Collection of Silver Mounted Loetz and other Glass, Sotheby's, 9 September 2003, lot 93.
