BRITISH SCHOOL, C1945 A SOLDIER OF THE BRITISH 29TH INFANTRY BRIGADE IN BURMA, 1944-45 indistinctly signed, oil on canvas, 60 x 50cmA dramatic image of a man of action rather than a portrait of an individual. The soldier of 122 Anti-Tank Regiment Royal Artillery is represented probably around Mandalay during February and March 1945, or on the Rangoon Road, April-May 1945.
