These included Graham Greene, Evelyn Waugh and Ian Fleming. In a letter to Strauss of 5 January 1955 Fleming informs the doctor that "A perfectly horrible man' [Drax] whose appearance in Fleming's forthcoming thriller 'Moonraker' resulted from his having borrowed Strauss' book Men of Genius (see The Man with the Golden Typewriter: Ian Fleming's James Bond Letters, 2015).
