LOVELACE (ADA AUGUSTA) NEE BYRON (1815-1852)

LOVELACE (ADA AUGUSTA) NEE BYRON (1815-1852) AUTOGRAPH LETTER SIGNED bifolium, [12] St James' Square [London] May 17th [1835-41] to Mr [Kemeys] Tynte on obtaining "a good professional education" for "the very talented little boy whom you heard here a day or two ago", she continues "...I have had some communication with Lord Burghersh with a view to placing him at the Institution in Tenterden St...", part album page adhered near fold, minor creases. Provenance: Purchased from Winifred A Myers (Autographs) Ltd, London by the present vendor in April 1961. Although she doesn't identify him, the boy's talents must have been musical for the 'Institute' is a reference to the Royal Academy of Music, founded by Lord Burghersh in Tenterden Street, London in 1822.
