ALFRED DUKE (1836-1915) OTTER HUNTING signed, signed again and inscribed on a note verso "Otter Hunting a Sketch Mr Churton's hounds - South Molton North Devon. The sketches were made in 1897 (and this picture painted in 99) whilst staying at Ivy Cottage, Eggesford for [-] head gardener [signed] Alfred Duke."
